IDS is your for-hire elearning expert. Pricing is based on the size and complexity of your project.
We are happy to talk to you about your project and give you a complimentary estimate.
If you decide to move forward, we will create a detailed project scope, including milestones, deliverables, and timeline.
All steps of the development process will be detailed and documented. Our goal is always to provide open communication and transparency at all times.
Project Scoping - Step by Step
Custom elearning development can be complex, so clear communication and careful planning are key to project success. This is especially true with new client relationships.
To provide you with the service you deserve, we take the time to fully understand your immediate goals, long-term vision, and challenges.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Upon request, we will set up an online meeting to discuss your project. This initial meeting is usually 30 minutes or less, but can go longer if needed. This meeting will give us a feel for your organization's needs, as well as your goals and challenges.
Step 2: Draft Proposal
Based on our initial conversation, we will create a draft proposal. This proposal will contain an overall plan of action designed to meet your stated project goals. A second meeting will be created where we will present our ideas and get your feedback.
Step 3: Formal Proposal
Based on our second conversation, we will create and present a formal proposal to start a development project. This step may or may not require a meeting. Any final adjustments can be communicated on a call or via email. Once you have given your approval, we will generate a contract document for your review and signature.
Step 4: Project Kickoff
To formalize the project's start, we will conduct a kickoff meeting with you and anyone else in your organization who will have input into the project. We will go over all milestones and deliverables. Future meetings can be scheduled as deliverables are completed, depending on your preferences.
